What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Implement and manage data warehousing solutions and data modeling
- Build and maintain data infrastructure (databases, data lakes, data marts)
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all data assets
- Optimize data processing performance and efficiency
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders
- Implement data monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
- Maintain data documentation and metadata management
- Support data migration and integration projects
- Implement data security measures and access controls
Tasks
- Design and implement modern data pipeline architectures
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes
- Create and manage relational and non‑relational data models
- Set up and maintain data warehousing platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
- Implement data quality validation and monitoring frameworks
- Develop data governance policies and procedures
- Optimize database performance and query efficiency
- Implement encryption and access control mechanisms
- Create comprehensive data documentation and metadata repositories
- Support system‑to‑system data migration projects
- Develop data monitoring dashboards and alerting systems
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on data requirements
- Mentor junior data engineers and provide knowledge transfer

You’re a Fit If You Have
Senior Data Engineer
- Degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or 10+ years progressive IT experience
- 10+ years designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL processes
- 10+ years with data warehousing and data modeling
- 10+ years with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.)
- 10+ years with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- 10+ years with SQL and NoSQL database management
- 10+ years implementing data quality and governance frameworks
- 10+ years with data security and access controls
- 10+ years supporting analytics and BI teams
- 10+ years with version control, CI/CD, and automation tools
Intermediate Data Engineer
- Degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or 5+ years progressive IT experience
- 5+ years designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL processes
- 5+ years with data warehousing and data modeling
- 5+ years with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.)
- 5+ years with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
