We are seeking experienced Enterprise Architecture Specialists who bring a blend of <strong>enterprise<\/strong>, <strong>business<\/strong>, and <strong>security<\/strong> architecture expertise to help shape the future of government digital services.<\/p>\n<p>This role is ideal for candidates who thrive at the intersection of strategy, architecture, governance, and transformation \u2014 and who can operate across multiple architectural domains with confidence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location<\/strong>: Ottawa, ON (On-site)<br \/>\n<strong>Contract Duration<\/strong>: Multi year (up to 5 years)<br \/>\n<strong>Clearance<\/strong>: Eligibility to obtain Canadian Security Clearance<br \/>\n<strong>Experience Level<\/strong>: Senior or Intermediate<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Enterprise Architecture<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the development and evolution of enterprise\u2011wide architecture frameworks, principles, and standards.<\/li>\n<li>Define target\u2011state architectures that support scalability, agility, innovation, and business capability alignment.<\/li>\n<li>Develop strategic roadmaps in collaboration with senior business and technology leaders.<\/li>\n<li>Promote reuse of common platforms, services, and architectural patterns.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in architecture review boards and ensure adherence to enterprise standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Business Architecture<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop business capability models, value streams, and process architectures aligned with enterprise strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct assessments of current\u2011state business architecture and identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Support the maturation of EA governance, including policies, processes, and organizational structures.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business needs and translate them into architectural requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance on operating model design, transformation initiatives, and strategic alignment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Security Architecture<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assess current\u2011state security architecture across systems, networks, and applications.<\/li>\n<li>Develop future\u2011state security architectures aligned with enterprise goals and regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain security principles, patterns, and reference models.<\/li>\n<li>Provide secure\u2011by\u2011design guidance for solution architectures and project teams.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to Zero Trust strategy development and security governance processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Deliverables<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Enterprise architecture strategy documents, roadmaps, and target\u2011state models.<\/li>\n<li>Business capability models, value streams, and process documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Security architecture assessments, patterns, and future\u2011state designs.<\/li>\n<li>Architecture decision records, governance artifacts, and senior\u2011level presentations.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluations of proposed projects against enterprise and security architecture standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Required Qualifications<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field <strong>OR<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Equivalent progressive experience in IT architecture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates should demonstrate experience in <strong>two or more<\/strong> of the following domains:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Enterprise Architecture<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leading enterprise\u2011wide architecture strategy, governance, and roadmap development.<\/li>\n<li>Designing integrated solutions aligned with enterprise standards and business needs.<\/li>\n<li>Developing enterprise data models, cloud architectures, integration strategies, or API\/microservice architectures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Business Architecture<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mapping business capabilities and processes to strategic objectives and IT investments.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting business architecture assessments and developing future\u2011state models.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting enterprise transformation initiatives (digital transformation, operating model redesign, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Security Architecture<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applying security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, Zero Trust Architecture).<\/li>\n<li>Designing secure enterprise architectures across hybrid and cloud environments.<\/li>\n<li>Developing security principles, patterns, and reusable components.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Certifications (Assets)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>TOGAF, BIZBOK<\/li>\n<li>CISSP, CISM, SABSA<\/li>\n<li>Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)<\/li>\n<li>ITIL, Lean, or Agile certifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic thinking and
