We are currently assembling candidates for a multi\u2011year Standing Offer covering advanced <strong>Data Science<\/strong> and <strong>AI\/ML analytics<\/strong> capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Canada is expanding its data exploitation, analytics, and intelligence capabilities. We are seeking experienced Data Scientists to lead data\u2011driven initiatives, develop analytical models, and support enterprise\u2011level data exploitation programs.<\/p>\n<p>If you have experience working with large datasets, developing machine learning models, or building advanced analytics solutions, this engagement is an excellent fit.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> Ottawa, ON (On\u2011site)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Contract Duration:<\/strong> Multi\u2011year (up to 5 years)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Clearance:<\/strong> Eligibility to obtain Canadian Security Clearance<\/li>\n<li><strong>Experience Level:<\/strong> Senior<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0What You\u2019ll Do<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead business and functional requirements gathering and analysis<\/li>\n<li>Define, develop, and lead data science initiatives to identify exploitation opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Autonomously find, enrich, transform, interpret, and exploit data to create intelligence products<\/li>\n<li>Perform data reviews, cleansing, validation, and preparation<\/li>\n<li>Communicate analytical findings to technical and non\u2011technical audiences<\/li>\n<li>Document methodologies, models, and analytical approaches<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the organization\u2019s Data Science roadmap and program development<\/li>\n<li>Ensure solutions align with: \u2013 Industry standards and best practices \u2013 PSEPC System Development Life Cycle \u2013 Federal policies, directives, and architectural principles<\/li>\n<li>Coach and mentor junior team members<\/li>\n<li>Participate in meetings and deliver all required reports and documentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>You\u2019re a Fit If You Have<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education \/ Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree\/diploma in a relevant field <strong>or<\/strong> 10+ years progressive IT experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience (10+ years)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working with datasets of <strong>2 million+ records<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Gathering requirements and identifying data science opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Using <strong>TensorFlow or PyTorch<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Prototyping and developing data exploitation capabilities using <strong>Python<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Designing and implementing algorithms and statistical techniques<\/li>\n<li>Working with <strong>text analytics<\/strong> and <strong>natural language processing (NLP)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Applying <strong>computer vision<\/strong> algorithms in AI contexts<\/li>\n<li>Designing and implementing <strong>graph analytics<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Performing complex data processing for <strong>time\u2011series<\/strong> and <strong>patterns\u2011of\u2011life<\/strong> analysis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>General Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma, degree, or acceptable combination of education and experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience in data science, analytics, or AI\/ML development<\/li>\n<li>Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication, documentation, and problem\u2011solving skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Nice to Have<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in Government of Canada environments<\/li>\n<li>Experience with secure or classified data environments<\/li>\n<li>Experience with cloud\u2011based ML platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Kibana)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with advanced analytics frameworks or distributed processing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why Join This Engagement<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work on high\u2011impact data science and intelligence initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities across multiple analytical and AI\/ML domains<\/li>\n<li>Long\u2011term stability<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative, multidisciplinary teams<\/li>\n<li>Ability to influence enterprise\u2011wide data strategy and analytics capabilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the Opportunity Trillys Systems is a technology consulting firm specializing in secure, scalable, and enterprise\u2011grade IT solutions for Government of Canada clients.
