Canada is modernizing its infrastructure, platforms, and application ecosystem to support secure, scalable, cloud‑ready services. We are seeking multiple Infrastructure and Application Support professionals to join a multi‑year transformation initiative.
Location: Ottawa, ON (On-site)
Contract Duration: Multi year (up to 5 years)
Clearance: Eligibility to obtain Canadian Security Clearance
Experience Level: Senior or Intermediate
We are hiring across two major streams:
- DevOps Platform Engineering (Kubernetes / Cloud / Automation)
- Application Support Services (SCCM, Windows/Linux, COTS, Web Servers)

Available Streams
Stream 1 — DevOps Platform Engineer (Kubernetes / Cloud / Automation)
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain highly available Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE, AKS, or on‑prem).
- Implement GitOps, DevSecOps, and cloud‑native patterns to accelerate delivery.
- Build automated CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD or similar).
- Develop containerized applications and manage Kubernetes workloads.
- Implement monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
- Create “Golden Paths” and reusable deployment templates for development teams.
- Integrate secret management tools (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, External Secrets Operator).
- Implement resource quotas, RBAC, and policy‑as‑code guardrails.
- Produce runbooks, architecture documentation, and platform playbooks.
You’re a Fit If You Have
- Strong Kubernetes production experience (2+ years Intermediate, 5–7+ years Senior).
- Expertise with Docker, Linux, networking, and container orchestration.
- Experience with kubectl, kustomize, skaffold, or similar tooling.
- Familiarity with AWS/GCP/Azure Kubernetes services.
- Experience with monitoring/logging stacks.
- Strong troubleshooting and automation skills.
Stream 2 — Application Support Services Specialist (SCCM / Windows / Linux / COTS / Web Servers)
What You’ll Do
- Provide Tier 2/3 operational and application support in mixed Windows/Linux environments.
- Install, configure, patch, and support client/server and web‑based applications.
- Support desktop applications (Windows 10+), COTS products, and enterprise software.
- Administer and support SCCM (packaging, deployment, MSI creation, OS patching).
- Support Apache Tomcat and Microsoft IIS on Windows and Red Hat Linux servers.
- Automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Participate in technical initiatives, project planning, and documentation updates.
- Provide operational procedures, diagrams, and knowledge transfer.
- Configure ADRs, Software Update Points, and SCCM hierarchies (CAS, Primary Sites, DPs).
You’re a Fit If You Have
- Strong SCCM experience (5+ years Intermediate, 10+ years Senior).
- Experience supporting Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, and enterprise desktops.
- Experience installing, configuring, and supporting web servers (Tomcat, IIS).
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
General Qualifications (All Roles)
Required
- Degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in one of the streams listed above.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in hybrid teams and support enterprise‑scale environments.
Nice to Have
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS).
- Microsoft certifications (M365, Azure Administrator, SCCM).
- Experience in Government of Canada environments.
- Experience with DevSecOps, GitOps, IaC (Terraform), or FinOps.
