Canada is expanding and modernizing its ServiceNow platform to support digital transformation, process standardization, and improved self‑service capabilities. We are seeking multiple ServiceNow professionals to design, configure, and implement new modules and catalogue capabilities within an enterprise ServiceNow environment.
Location: Ottawa, ON (On-site)
Contract Duration: Multi year (up to 5 years)
Clearance: Eligibility to obtain Canadian Security Clearance
Experience Level: Senior or Intermediate
We are hiring across two major streams:
- ServiceNow Service Catalogue Developer
- ServiceNow Implementer (Module Deployment & Configuration)
If you have experience building catalogue items, workflows, integrations, or implementing new ServiceNow modules, this engagement is an excellent fit.
Available Streams
Stream 1 — ServiceNow Service Catalogue Developer
What You’ll Do
- Design and build catalogue items (hardware, software, access requests, HR services).
- Configure forms, variables, UI policies, and client scripts.
- Build automated workflows and Flow Designer flows for fulfilment.
- Configure approvals, notifications, and task assignments.
- Integrate catalogue items with external systems (HR, procurement, Active Directory, etc.).
- Manage catalogue categories, roles, and visibility rules.
- Troubleshoot catalogue issues and update items as business needs evolve.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards.
You’re a Fit If You Have
- Experience designing user‑facing forms with conditional logic.
- Experience building automated workflows and deploying to production.
- ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and custom scripting.
- Experience collaborating with PMs, architects, and application owners.
Stream 2 — ServiceNow Implementer (Module Deployment & Configuration)
What You’ll Do
- Gather and document business requirements for new ServiceNow modules.
- Configure modules, workflows, business rules, and data models.
- Integrate new modules with existing systems and data sources.
- Migrate data into new modules while ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Develop custom scripts, workflows, and integrations as needed.
- Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Provide training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to end‑users and administrators.
- Deploy modules to production and provide go‑live support.
- Support digital transformation and ITSM maturity initiatives.
You’re a Fit If You Have
- Experience configuring and developing within the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience implementing or deploying new ServiceNow modules.
- Strong technical leadership experience on IM/IT projects.
- ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and custom scripting.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders (PMs, architects, system integrators).
General Qualifications (All Roles)
Required
- Diploma, degree, or acceptable combination of education and experience in IT.
- Experience in one of the ServiceNow streams listed above.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow configuration, workflows, and scripting.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Additional ServiceNow certifications (ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, etc.).
- Experience in Government of Canada environments.
- Experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs).
- Experience with Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules, and UI Policies.
