CDRv5 Server

Before you install CDRv5 Server, ensure you have the following:

• Hardware: A computer with Windows 11 or higher. CDRv5 Server is based on a Windows service and is designed to be on at all times. Therefore, server-class hardware is recommended.
• Hard drive space of 50MB for the program plus the flat file storage of approximately 600MB per million calls.
• Network interface cards: We recommend two network interface cards: one facing the CDRv5Collector (SIP) or the Telco feed (SS7) and one facing your local area network. The card facing the LAN must have a dedicated IP address that will serve the CDRv5 Client(s).
• Access to at least one source of CPM/CDR. CDRv5Collector or the Telco feed (See 1 in diagram): This information is provided to you by your CDRv5Collector administrator or by your Telco. These credentials are necessary to connect to the CDR/CPM sources. They consist of the following:
1. User account
2. Pass code (key)
3. IP address of the CDRv5Collector or the telco feed
4. Port number of the CDRv5Collector or the telco feed
5. CDR Format: VoIP for CDRv5Collecter or as provided by your telco.
• CDRv5 Server Software Package: This package consists of a set of files required to run the CDRv5 Server software.
• A license file and a license key: The license file will be named "TrillysSystemsCdrServer_Ent_XX_XX.INI" where "XX" are unique identifiers. The license key is a string formatted as "XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX". You should have received it separately. Note that you will also receive other license files/keys for other components. The license file name prefixes are different for every product.
• Administrative Privileges: You must have administrative privileges and be able to install services.

Before you install CDRv5 Client, ensure you have the following:

• Hardware: A computer with Windows 11 or higher. Your computer should have one network interface card connected to the CDRv5 Server machine. This software can be installed on the same machine as the CDRv5 Server.
• Hard drive space of 300MB for the programs plus MS-SQL database size of 1GB per million calls.
• CDRv5 Client Software Package: This package consists of a set of files required to run the CDRv5 Client software.
• MS-SQL Server (Optional): This option depends on the volume of data you require. If you anticipate data storage exceeding 10GB, you should purchase and install MS-SQL Server on your local machine or on an accessible server. Otherwise, the installation process will offer you to install MS-SQL Express 2014 which limits the database size to 10GB. This would be roughly equivalent to 10M calls.
• License file and a valid license key assigned to your computer by the site administrator.
  License file will be named "CdrV5Client_Ent_XX_XX.INI" where "XX" are unique identifiers. The license key is a string formatted as "XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX".
